Department Description

The Private Equity practice area sits within the corporate and finance practice group and covers the full range of Private Equity and Corporate/M&A work.  The team has broad experience of corporate and funds transactions, with particular focus on private and public M&A, joint ventures, co-investments, secondaries, GP-led transactions and leveraged buy-outs.  We act for both private equity houses, institutional investors and corporates across a range of sectors.

Person Specification

We have an opening for a first rate Private Equity lawyer.  Experience gained within a top tier firm and exposure to M&A work along with being familiar with equity documents is preferred.  It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree), with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team. The ideal candidate will have between two and six years post qualification experience (or equivalent experience).
