Responsibilities:
Communication and Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between advisors and the firm, effectively communicating changes, updates, and new product/service launches.
- Coordinate with internal support teams to ensure advisors have access to the necessary resources and support.
- Working with regional teams across the Country to provide consistent messages and instructions.
- Keeping apprised of changes and communication within the company to provide an effective network of current information.
- Participating and presenting at local market and regional events.
Advisor Support
- Assist Regional Leads in supporting advisory teams within the region.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with advisors to address their needs and concerns.
- Assist advisors to increase and maintain business growth rate, improve client retention, as well as improve their staff development and retention.
- Work closely with the branch supervision team to help advisors with their regulatory obligations.
- Manage advisor exits, terminations or other licensed team members off-board, working closely with registrations and other internal teams.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Assist in the development and execution of regional strategies that support the broader goals of the firm.
- Collaborate with Regional Leads to identify growth opportunities and implement action plans.
- Work closely with Regional Leads to implement tailored strategies for various segments of Advisors.
Relationship Management
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships with branches, advisors and their teams and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a primary point of contact for top priority advisory teams in the region, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Advisor Onboarding
- Lead the onboarding process in the local market for new advisors, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm's ecosystem.
- Work closely with the onboarding and transition teams to create a seamless experience.
- Be the lead coordinator in the region for all new advisory teams working collaboratively with all internal groups and teams.
Transition and Succession Planning
- Support advisors in transition and succession planning to ensure continuity and success.
- Work with advisors to develop strategic plans that align with their goals and the firm's objectives.
- Support advisory transitions across business types and registration categories.
- Work closely with internal partners on execution of corporate advisor successions.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving processes and enhancing the advisor experience.
- Gather feedback from advisors to inform service and product development.
- Supporting advisor teams with any changes/updates to processes.
Leadership and Team Development
- Provide guidance and mentorship to advisory teams to enhance their professional growth and development.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and webinars for advisors and their teams.
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture amongst advisory teams that encourages collaboration and innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and encourage knowledge sharing among the advisor community.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of advisory teams, providing feedback and support to drive improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on regional performance and advisor satisfaction for senior and executive management.
Service & Referral Programs
- Manage inter-organizational synergies and opportunities.
- Engage with senior leadership and external partners to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on business priorities.

- This position reports to the Western Canada Regional Lead of Manulife Wealth.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience working with and supporting independent advisors in Canada.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional agile teams and projects.
- 5+ years in wealth management and financial advisory space.
- Proven ability to probe for understanding of risks and issues to ensure transparency and supports achievement of business objectives.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to form actionable plans. Proven experience as a creative and innovative thinker with the ability to challenge the status quo to drive significant change.
- Ability to influence without direct authority, and highly effective negotiation and collaboration skills; proven success in building and managing relationships.
- Strong ability to present complex ideas clearly, with an ability to manage the complexities of executing significant change and influence individuals across business boundaries to achieve objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to provide updates to all levels, including senior management.
- Strong financial acumen, with an ability to understand key metrics and their relation to business drivers.
- Strategic problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated individual with a proven track record in building strong relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and engage participants across various learning platforms.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supporting advisors, preferably in a corporate or advisory setting.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with advisor operating models.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and providing service beyond expectations.

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
