Title: Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Consultant (Consulting Services)
Role and responsibilities:
- Partner with account managers to engage with prospects and clients during the sales cycle.
- Manage in-bound sales leads and convert them into qualified opportunities for consulting services.
- Identify security challenges and business objectives and translates it into business outcome for the company.
- Translate client requirements into detailed proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), and solution presentations.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are achievable and appropriately resourced.
- Present technical solutions in clear business terms to senior stakeholders.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with high-quality technical and commercial responses.
- Generate interest to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities through alternate channels or business ideas to generate more sales with the team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of service methodologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
- Analyse past deals to identify winning patterns and embed them into the existing process.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Cyber/ Business or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 2- 4 years Cyber Security/ IT related experience providing pre-sales, solution or technical consulting.
- Knowledge in cybersecurity consulting or advisory services across areas such as penetration testing, incident response, security monitoring, threat intelligence, and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, MAS TRM, CSA CSTM).
- Established professional networks with multinational corporations (MNCs) with regional HQs in Singapore, including relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and risk leaders.
- Ability to bridge technical concepts and business value propositions.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and proposal-writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing role with tight deadlines
