Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to add a Principal/Sr. Principal Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer to its Specialty Engineering team located in either Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT in support of the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This position is for a systems engineer with experience in design for EMI/EMC compliance. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to various efforts within the E3 Design Support team including design reviews, analysis, and E3 CDRLs development.
The E3 engineer will review and provide critical, actionable feedback of system designs to design teams for various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). They should be able to develop, follow, and apply EMI/EMC technical principles, techniques, and concepts. The selected candidate will work under the direction of the E3 Design Support lead, and will contribute to the technical quality, development, and on-time delivery of E3 design CDRLs, along with supporting design reviews for multiple IPTs.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $102,400.00 - $153,600.00Salary Range 2: $127,000.00 - $190,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
