The Processing Agreement Specialist (PAS) is the primary point of contact for their assigned toll customer related to futures buying and invoice pricing.
While following the guidelines provided in each Corn Processing Agreement, the PAS will be responsible for:
Coordination and communication of corn futures purchases on customer’s behalf.
Overseeing assignment of corn basis values on customer’s behalf
Calculation of customer invoice pricing and accurate entry of pricing components within the SAP system
Record keeping following audit guidelines.
Researching and resolving invoice price issues and respond to various data requests.
The PAS will be responsible for handling multiple customers. Decision-making, time management, organizational skills and priority setting will be major factors in completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
Collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and the Commodities teams will be ongoing and a vital part of successful management of daily responsibilities.
PAS responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing accurate and timely calculation of invoice prices in Excel spreadsheet to each customer. As needed, create new price spreadsheets tailored to meet customer needs.
Uploading accurate and timely pricing components for each customer into the SAP system on a monthly or quarterly basis. Follow up with periodic review of invoices issued to verify data and resolve any issues.
Creating and maintaining contracts within the SAP system for each customer.
Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheet to track futures usage by customer and anticipate customer needs.
Creating and maintaining pricing reconciliations for customers that utilize Proforma invoice pricing. This includes calculating the financial value and submitting to internal business partners for required approvals, as well as maintaining all documentation for audit review. In addition, the PAS is responsible for financial settlement of the reconciliation with customer.
Creation and distribution of the Corn Processing Agreement document in Word for each account based on Sales negotiations.
Resolving SAP consumption errors and blocked billing in a timely manner.
Assisting team Manager with various tasks as requested.
