Currently we are looking for: MES Project Manager

Role Overview:

In this role, the employee will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across CANPACK Group’s production facilities. This includes ensuring system continuity, monitoring performance, and aligning MES functionalities with operational requirements.

The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, production site personnel, and the external MES provider. The consultant will support daily operations, contribute to system enhancements, and ensure that end users are well-prepared and supported in their use of the MES platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and maintenance of the MES system within the CANPACK Group, including its deployment, configuration, and ensuring consistent and efficient operation across all production facilities.
• Providing support to factories in the use of the MES system, including assistance with operations, troubleshooting, and ensuring effective system utilization.
• Providing substantive supervision of user training and support for the MES system, including the creation of user manuals and system usage guides.
• Ongoing system monitoring, performance analysis, and operational accuracy
• Performing system maintenance tasks
• Configuring and troubleshooting system configuration issues

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of MES systems architecture, configuration, deployment, and integration with other production systems.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Management principles, particularly in the context of IT systems and digital transformation in production.
• Experience in project planning, execution, and reporting, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written), at least B2 level.
