Our client, Vanguard, a global leader in investment management, is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Fund and Investment Operations Analyst to join their team in Dublin. What you'll do: 
 

As a Fund and Investment Operations Analyst at Vanguard, you will play a crucial role in overseeing process implementation and driving improvements across global fund and investment operations. You will be responsible for leading internal control framework improvements, formulating strategic recommendations, and proactively identifying and mitigating external events that could impact the team. Your role will also involve driving process improvements, identifying opportunities to enhance the accuracy of forecast reports, and collaborating with internal and external partners to support global operations. 

 

  • Oversee process implementation for trade operations ensuring global consistency 

  • Act as subject matter and technical expert, identifying and resolving complex operational issues 

  • Lead internal control framework improvements and formulate strategic recommendations 

  • Support portfolio managers to ensure operational objectives are met 

  • Serve as an escalation contact, creating, building, and maintaining relationships with portfolio traders and managers 

  • Proactively identify and mitigate external events and regulatory changes that impact the team 

  • Drive process improvements, identify opportunities to improve accuracy of forecast reports 

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support global operations 

 

What you bring: 
 

The ideal candidate for the Fund and Investment Operations Analyst role at Vanguard brings a minimum of five years of related work experience. An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience is required, with preference given to those with an Accounting or Finance degree. A CFA or other financial designation is also preferred. You should have strong industry knowledge to support relationship management, along with the ability to anticipate portfolio events and lead process enhancement initiatives. 
 

  • Minimum of five years related work experience 

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience 

  • Accounting or Finance degree preferred 

  • CFA or other financial designation preferred 

  • Strong industry knowledge to support relationship management 

  • Ability to anticipate portfolio events and lead process enhancement initiatives
