2. Coordinate with internal departments, including finance, legal, investor relations, and external auditors, to gather necessary information and support for SEC filings.

3. Research and interpret new accounting standards and SEC regulations, providing guidance to senior management on the potential impact on our financial reporting and disclosures.

4. Manage the disclosure committee process, facilitating discussions and reviews to ensure timely and accurate disclosures in SEC filings.

5. Review financial statements, footnotes, and other disclosures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SEC regulations.

6. Stay current with evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including updates from the SEC, FASB, and other governing bodies.

7. Mentor and develop staff members within the SEC reporting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

8. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the SEC reporting process, implementing best practices and automation where applicable.

9. Serve as a key liaison with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits, providing support and documentation as needed.

We’re excited about you if you have:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting.

- CPA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification required.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting roles, preferably with a publicly traded company or public accounting firm, with at least 4 years in management roles.

- Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations, with the ability to research and interpret complex accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving projects to successful completion in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities as needed.

- Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and professionalism in handling confidential information and sensitive situations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software; experience with Workiva or other SEC reporting tools
