U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Openings) in Irving, Texas.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Openings) will be part of the Contact Center team whose primary objective is to design and implement omni-channel contact centers across various business lines, leveraging Amazon Connect on the AWS platform. The team specializes in building and supporting these contact centers, enabling customer service representatives to effectively manage phone calls and chat inquiries. The team will also migrate contact centers from various platforms to Amazon Connect for existing business lines for a cohesive customer service experience and will develop and maintain applications to provide valuable analytics and insights derived from customer conversations. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the following: providing design strategies to build and stabilize web, backend, and batch applications across on-premise and cloud environments; decomposing monolithic applications into more manageable micro service components using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, MySQL, NoSQL, Graph-QL, Kubernetes, Python, AWS Lambda, Dynamo DB etc.; leading the team through the full solution lifecycle, covering development, acceptance testing, CI/CD pipeline construction for infrastructure provisioning and deployment, as well as overseeing monitoring and security; exploring and evaluating new tools and frameworks in the market to enhance the development of efficient microservices and applications; collaborate with other teams within U.S. Bank and external partners like AWS to review and optimize application architecture; facilitating team progress through code reviews and providing essential training on diverse application components; innovating and developing tools to automate manual testing processes using different frameworks like JUnit, Karate and Cucumber; resolving critical production issues through effective troubleshooting and solution implementation; investigating and producing proof of concepts for addressing various technical challenges; innovating and creating tools aimed at enhancing customer and branch banker experiences; formulating data migration and system integration strategies; involved in complete life cycle of Agile (SCRUM) process. Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering plus 5 years of experience as an Architect, Consultant, Technical Lead, Software Developer, or related. 

Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with: developing and architecting new systems built with Java-based applications; architecting, designing, documenting, developing and testing the web and distributed applications; design and review integration between systems; build, test, and deploy applications components; ensure data and security compliance across systems; build test automation; Java; REST services; Microservices; and Kubernetes.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $149,781 - $ 190,400. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
