About the Role

This position is to support the related language application development, including system design, programming, unit testing and system, integration testing, UAT and production implementation. This role may also mentor engineer/specialist for system development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•    We need to link up with customers to understand the customer's requirement (20%)
•    Assistant Project Owner to provide the estimation and schedule (10%)
•    Draft technical specification according to business requirement (40%)
•    Perform programming and unit test (10%)
•    Fix system & integration testing and UAT defects promptly, delivery services with quality and within timeline (10%)
•    Mentor and support information engineer for system development (10%)
•    Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
 

Job Requirements:

•    Be professional in Computer Science or IT related field.
•    Be dedicated in related language or platform: Cloud platforms, Linux/Windows/Unix platforms, Web/mobile applications
•    3+ yrs database and SQL experience (DB2 and Oracle etc)
•    Knowledge of Software development process (SDLC)
•    Good command of both written and spoken English
•    Hard-working person and quick learner
•    Problem solving skills
•    Has experience on insurance is preferable
