Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is looking for a Project Manager (PM) to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) – Increment 1 (INC1) program.  The Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe.   

Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, scheduling and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Manages all aspects of Army migrations to the AGUN infrastructure.  

• Develop processes and procedures to AGUN manage migration processes. 

• Work with customers on a daily / weekly basis to communicate the latest status and risk to the schedule. 

• Provide weekly status to the PMO as to the status of site migrations and risk and issues that need to be addressed.  

• Manage a team of up to 8 migration engineers to support Army migrations. This includes assigning tasks, while ensuring that AGUN processes and schedules are met in a timely manner.   

• Works with Army, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues/obstacles impeding completion of tasks or that delay the schedule. 

• Work with scheduling team to plan, build and status migration schedules each week. 

• Schedule and Manage Authorized System Interruptions (ASIs) that will take place in the evenings. This will involve following up with an After-Action Report (AAR) after all ASI activities have been completed.  

Basic Qualifications: 

• Good communications and writing skills.  

• Will require extend workdays during ASI implementations.  

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.  A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 

• Demonstrated experience working within the Agile framework. 

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.  

• US Citizen with a Secret security clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Prior experience working within Army’s IT infrastructure.
