Senior Data Analytics Specialist

The outlined responsibilities encompass financial data analysis and reporting, process improvement, stakeholder collaboration, compliance, performance monitoring, and risk management. Key tasks include preparing, consolidating and analyzing financial reports, maintaining dashboards for stakeholders, reconciling systems, and ensuring accurate data tracking. Process improvement efforts focus on automation, standardization, and efficiency enhancements.
Stakeholder collaboration involves delivering strategic insights and proactively addressing financial reporting issues. Compliance entails adherence to IFRS and internal controls, timely completion of closing tasks, and accuracy in reconciliations. Performance is monitored through defined goals, while risk management addresses potential issues in revenue recognition, balance sheets, and financial systems, ensuring alignment with IFRS standards.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Education: Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or an advanced degree in a similar field.
Languages: English proficiency (Conversation, read and write)
Experience: Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years in accounting, finance, or data analytics, with strong knowledge of financial reporting.
Data Expertise: Skilled in report creation, database management, data analytics generation, and interpretation.
Controls & Compliance: Experience managing internal and financial controls (preferred).
Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory and revenue cycle transactions, product costing, financial inventory management, and master data management (preferred).
Performance Tracking: Hands-on experience with KPIs, dashboards, and driving process improvement initiatives.
