Your Mission
Blizzard has been a leader in entertainment for over 30 years, with millions of passionate fans globally. As our franchises scale and our publishing ecosystem becomes increasingly complex, the need for strong operational rigor across Social & Content grows with it.
The Social & Content team supports multiple franchises and publishing moments globally. To operate effectively at scale, we require standardized workflows, strong governance, secure platform management, and seamless cross-functional alignment.
We are seeking a Social Campaign Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across platforms, tools, governance, and reporting - ensuring our social ecosystem runs efficiently, securely, and predictably. This candidate will support the release and growth of beloved Blizzard titles: World of Warcraft®, Overwatch®, and Diablo®, while operating as part of a cross-franchise Campaign Ops guild with shared standards and governance.
As Social Campaign Operations Manager, you will act as the primary operational partner for the Social & Content team across franchises. You will be considered a subject matter authority in Social Operations within Marketing and will operate independently on complex, cross-franchise challenges that require sound judgment, domain expertise, and the ability to evaluate intangible risks.
You will:
Define and standardize scalable global end-to-end social operational frameworks
Strengthen platform governance, security protocols, and access controls globally
Formalize cross-functional operating networks across Social, Audience Development, PR, Publishing, Events, and Digital
Drive clarity in reporting cadence, stakeholder expectations, and ownership across franchises
Enable scalable asset distribution and content visibility
Support major publishing and live event beats (e.g. BlizzCon)
Reduce operational friction and ambiguity in a fast-moving publishing environment
This role may influence work across multiple groups and will regularly coordinate senior stakeholders.

Regularly manage 1Password and global account access permissions
Establish and enforce security protocols across platforms and tools
Anticipate governance risks and implement preventative controls
Maintain strong relationships with platform representatives
Global Distribution & Publishing Operations:
Manage global social asset distribution processes, including channel creation and access enablement
Standardize best-practice documentation as platforms evolve
Oversee social operational execution for major events (e.g., BlizzCon) and publishing moments
Cross-Functional & Agency Partnership:
Partner closely with franchise Social & Content leads on global run-of-show execution
Collaborate with Mutiny (Social & Content’s agency) to ensure strategy, analytics, and community managers have appropriate access, dashboards, and operational clarity
Work with Audience Development to maintain and evolve the global reporting calendar, ensuring clarity on ownership, cadence, and launch reporting needs
Improve alignment across Social, PR, Publishing, Digital, and Audience Development
Reporting & Operational Discipline:
Maintain and evolve the cross-franchise reporting calendar (clarifying expectations, cadence, and launch needs)
