Focus of the Role
As the IT Domain Specialist, your role is key in improving the stability and reliability of our cloud offerings and solutions to ensure continuity of service for our customers. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end development of key cloud platform and solutions which includes technical design, integration requirements, delivery and lifecycle management.
You are a specialist across and/or within a technology domain and viewed as the go-to person in the business to provide technical support in the development and delivery of cloud infrastructure platforms and solutions.

What You’ll Do

As an IT Domain Specialist, you draw on your expertise in one or more technology domains and Cloud platforms to deliver against the following responsibilities: 
• Apply domain expertise to manage the delivery, integration, operationalisation and lifecycle management of relevant systems, solutions and interrelated components across technology streams
• Collaborate with technology partners and diverse stakeholder groups to develop and implement fit for purpose solutions
• Manage the optimisation of deployments from test into production across the operational support system environments
• Design system lifecycle plans and identify improvement opportunities for solutions to meet performance and operational requirements to achieve business outcomes 
• Identifies system risks and develop mitigation actions to support the business to address technical issues that have some complexities
• Continuously identifies innovative ways to improve current processes, systems and solutions to better meet stakeholder and business needs

 

About You

Knowledgeable in technical engineering to be able to communicate both verbally and in writing – the translation of these technical terms into business language that can be understood by Chief Risk Office  (expertise in Risk Management and audit compliance) and business units. 
- Highly knowledgeable of cross business units with in-depth knowledge of how Telcos sell and service our customers – and how IT interacts with our Business units and customers. 
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps 
- Experience in Platform architecture and roadmap 
- Experience in System Integration and Improving technology systems
