Citibank, N.A. seeks a Regulatory Risk Officer for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Understand the risk data strategy and partner with first line business, technology, and Chief Data Office teams to establish project plans and processes to identify and remediate data gaps and variances and develop business requirements and scope around the data in alignment with Citi’s Data Operating Model and Citi Data Governance Policy (CDGP). Act as a Subject Matter Expert (“SME”) on the data attributes used for regulatory reporting and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) loss modeling and forecasting. Review and approve data mapping and data analysis and clarify data scope and charter. Conduct data analysis using SQL and excel functions such as vlookup, pivot table for retail banking products. Coordinate project delivery process including managing risks by highlighting critical dependencies and ensuring risks and issues are resolved. Monitor risks by highlighting critical dependencies and partner with project team to resolve and/or mitigate risk and issues. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) including data validation to support internal and external reporting. Review UAT test strategy, test plan and test cases. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Regulatory Risk Officer, Risk Operations Officer, or related position involving program governance and risk management within retail banking domain. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in the stated fields and 3 years of the specified experience. 3 years of experience must include: Retail Risk Regulatory reporting (CCAR, CECL); Data analysis to review and approve data mapping and clarify data scope and charter; Data validation quality control tools: SQL, Excel vlookup, pivot table; Data definitions, mapping, and data rules validation; Project management; UAT test strategy review, testing plan development and execution; and UAT coordination and data validation to support internal and external reporting.
