The Director, Field Finance will oversee all financial activities related to our service delivery practice, ensuring financial stability and supporting strategic growth. This role involves high-level decision-making, financial planning, and risk management to drive the company's financial success. The successful candidate must be extremely hands-on and possess the ability to effectively communicate the financial, strategic, and operating goals. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the vision is clearly communicated to all members of the team and that it is reinforced on an ongoing basis.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

  • Creates a positive team member experience.
  • Supports senior leadership with day-to-day oversight of service delivery teams to ensure adherence to company policy.
  • Leads and mentors a team of finance professionals.

Client:

  • Analyzes financial performance and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Monitors financial KPI’s and works with the business to develop and implement operational strategies to meet goals for service delivery.
  • Manages headcount and operational expense spend at the individual or vendor level.
  • Collaborates with Corporate FP&A to prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Collaborates with other departments to support overall business objectives.
  • Communicates financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a service delivery context.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with ERP and EPM software a plus; Workday Finance, Workday Adaptive Insights and OneStream preferred.
