Supervisor Physician Assistant –SICU/Trauma, Burn and General Surgery – Rotating - Cornell Campus

We're seeking an experienced PA to take front line responsibility at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell. As a Supervising PA,  you will provide clinical care to patients in the SICU/Trauma, Burn and General Surgery service while also taking on leadership responsibilities in areas such as training, scheduling, staff development, and department quality and patient initiatives in collaboration with fellow Supervising PAs and Chief PA's. 

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to: serving as a mentor and able to train new staff members, organizing student and PA resident rotations, monitoring all PAs to make sure they are compliant with required licenses, certifications and modules.  

Shift: This position is a 12.5 hour day shift rotation with flexibility to work nights as needed. Flexible to help fill OT opportunities and sick calls.  Flexibility to work in SICU, Red surgery, nights A (general surgery) and Burn service as needed.

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies

  • Current NYS licensure

  • DEA/BLS/ACLS certifications

  • NCCPA certification

  • Minimum 5 years of related previous experience as described above.

$160,000-$200,000/Annual
