As a Workplace Banking Associate, you’ll be a key enabler of our Workplace & Employee Banking team, supporting Business Development Managers (BDMs) nationally to deliver strong, sustainable partnerships.
You’ll help generate high-quality home lending opportunities while providing end-to-end support across enquiries and loan maintenance. Working closely with Home Lending specialists, you’ll ensure corporate partners and their employees receive a professional, responsive and trusted experience. This is a role where relationship-building, commercial thinking and operational excellence come together — and where your contribution directly supports portfolio growth and long-term partnership success.
Partner with BDMs to prepare, coordinate and execute successful corporate launches and ongoing engagement strategies
Proactively engage Workplace Banking customers, uncover lending needs and connect them with the right Home Lending specialists
Manage home loan enquiries and maintenance activities end-to-end with accuracy and efficiency
Strengthen and sustain trusted relationships with corporate partners and key internal stakeholders
Identify portfolio growth opportunities and contribute to state-based strategic planning initiatives
Champion continuous improvement by sharing productivity ideas and best practice approaches
Respond to customer queries and resolve complaints promptly, professionally and with care
Maintain strong risk awareness, ensuring compliance with referral source, wellbeing and responsible lending standards
Proven ability to build and grow external business partnerships that deliver measurable commercial outcomes
Demonstrated experience in residential lending, business development or financial services
Strong understanding of retail lending processes, responsible lending legislation and lending terminology
Ability to identify customer needs and convert opportunities into quality referrals
Exceptional relationship management skills, with confidence engaging corporate stakeholders
High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
Confident navigating banking systems and technology platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant financial services qualification (degree, diploma or Certificate IV)
FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation (including Deposit Products and General Insurance)
