Job Description:

SOLDI is part of Customer Solutions and the IE Specialist in the practice area IE serves as Subject Matter Expert to develop and implement operational CS products and customized solutions for customers within the Europe Region. The role involves the research, evaluation and delivery of business cases for new product developments and leads projects and virtual temporary teams remotely. The role requires close collaboration with CS Customer Facing on customer opportunities to gain, retain and grow UPS business through solutions that deliver customer value. The IE Specialist communicates and collaborates with aligned positions in other SOLDI areas, other Solution groups, Operations, IE, Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects, implementation and support activities
  • Solve customer problems by designing and implementing best fitting solutions
  • Develop, lead and implement moderately complex projects to support new business opportunities whilst overcoming cross–functional resistance
  • CS product owner for specific CS products, monitoring and supporting to ensure these are maintained and continue to operate effectively
  • Seek continuous improvements within customer solutions projects to enhance services
  • Provide subject matter expertise to increase Customer Solutions knowledge and understanding
  • Keep Customer Solutions project stakeholders informed of project progress
  • Analyze data and interpret the results to make recommendations for solutions and evaluate solutions prior to implementation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
  • A team player willing to contribute knowledge and experience within the team
  • Analytical skills, the ability to think “out of the box” as well as self-responsibility and accountability for own projects and tasks
  • An open-minded approach to projects with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Experience and knowledge in MS Office products
  • A good understanding of UPS’ products, services and network operations
  • Good verbal and written skills in English
