Role Mandate

The UHNW Client Solutions Team is focused on improving the client and prospective client experience. We prepare prospective client proposals, oversee new client onboarding and coordinate delivery of services. In addition, we develop integration and collaboration between advisory teams by solving complex operational problems, developing data analytics for management reporting and leading business technology initiatives. The Private Wealth Analyst will assist team members in the functions of the group, and support both Lead Relationship Managers and the business development efforts of our Private Wealth Advisors.  

 

Key Dimensions 

  • Supports business development, sales and service delivered by Private Wealth Advisors and Lead Relationship Managers 

  • Identifies ultra-high net worth (UHNW) business development opportunities to help grow BMO Family Office 

  • Oversees delivery of services and introduction of new services to enhance the overall client experience 

  • Acts as a key point of contact for clients, taking ownership of and collaborating with others to resolve issues, and recommending ways to improve the overall client experience 

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Oversees the preparation of new business proposals or presentations to clients/prospects  

  • Builds a relationship development plan for all assigned clients under the direction of the Lead Relationship Manager 

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify business development opportunities 

  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards 

  • Makes updates to sales forecast, pipeline and relationship plans 

  • Assists in coordinating client meetings, calls and follow up action items 

  • Monitors, investigates, and responds to client escalations and service issues 

  • Coordinates account opening and other client onboarding documentation  

  • Participates in relationship review process and completion of required action items 

  • Meets high-quality service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth 

  • Follows policies and procedures to reduce business risk and ensure safety of client assets 

 

Knowledge and Skills 

  • 4 to 6 years financial service experience in client service and/or business development 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred 

  • Knowledge of financial planning, wealth management and private banking 

  • A willingness and aptitude to influence and recognize new business opportunities 

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of software and sales management software 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines and balance/prioritize tasks 

  • Attention to detail and ability to practically apply written policy and procedures

Salary:

$56,000.00 - $104,000.00

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
