About the Role

  • This Customer Quality position will be a key resource to manage Maruti Suzuki Zero Km. Issues. The person will track Quality issues, track with internal CFT (SW/HW/Mfg./ME) for analysis and corrective measures and finally closing with customer. He will be the single point of contact from Quality for all Maruti Suzuki related topics and will support New Project Quality activities.
  • This position will be responsible for managing warranty issues for MSIL. The person will track warranty issues, track with internal CFT (SW/HW/Mfg./ME) for analysis and corrective measures and finally closing with customer. He will be attending weekly warranty meeting at MSIL and will meet MQ team at regular intervals to strengthen customer relations. 
  • This position will be fully responsible for managing the local warehouse operations.  
  • This position will report to the Customer Quality manager and will be managing the QREs in Maruti Suzuki plants. Also, this position will be fully responsible for managing the local warehouse operations.

What You Will Do

  • Take leadership and manage local customer Quality function. Must have critical judgement to provide timely correct input to Harman Pune Plant team and Coordinate with CFT and supply required information to Customer. Act as a single point of contact for all Quality related topics.   
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to maintain healthy relations with customers.
  • Track issues at Zero Km. in customer plants.  
  • Initiate ICA, Track analysis, coordinate with Customer’s PQ team and timely closure of issues.
  • Manage software reflashing at Harman warehouse, customer plant and yard, as applicable. 
  • Warranty issues analysis update to Customer’s PQ team for issues closure.
  • Meet MSIL Market Quality team at regular intervals to update on warranty issues status.   
  • Provide Technical troubleshooting for critical cases to customers. 
  • Manage critical documentation required for Zero Km. and update analysis closure in global issue tracking portal.
  • Manage Harman Gurgaon warehouse operation and maintain Inventory tracking.
  • Ensure flawless supplies to MSIL plants as per DI. 
  • Support New Project Quality activities. (Packaging trial/Vehicle fitment trial/coordination etc.)
  • Track vendor rating and analyze to drive improvement. 
  • Maintaining relevant documentation as per IATF requirement.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Minimum 5-8 yrs. of experience in Customer Quality.
  • Must have handled a team.  
  • Must have completed Full time BE/B-Tech in Electrical/Electronics/E&TC Engineering.
  • Must have handled Electrical/Electronic components as a commodity. 
  • Experience in coordinating technical decisions with teams across SW, HW, ME teams.
  • Ability to Connect with Customers & understand the Quality requirement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have handled warehouse operations and supply to MSIL locations.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 20%, domestic only.
  • This role is eligible to work remotely full-time in Harman Warehouse Office with occasional trips into the Harman Pune Plant office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice)
  • Experience four-wheeler auto-ancillary company and have clear understanding of vehicle architecture. 
  • Must have handled Electrical/Electronic components as a commodity. 
  • Preferably handled Maruti Suzuki (MSIL, SMG) as a Customer Quality Leader.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience Customer Quality domain working as a lead position in last 5 years .
  • Good knowledge of Quality management standards and certification process . Strong analytical Skills.
  • Experience in handling warehouse operations independently.
  • Fluent in English.
