Job Description

The High Potential Growth Teammate is dedicated to partnering with our High Value Sellers, to remove barriers and enable growing profitability to the eBay marketplace and our sellers. You will be working to understand the needs of seller businesses, taking ownership, and driving seller profitability.

This role requires the ability to travel to various business events

Fluency in the English language, other HIPO-related languages seen as an advantage

What you will accomplish:

  • Develop strong relationships with our top sellers by proactively communicating with them on key levers that will help increase their sales.
  • Work directly with eBay customers inbound and outbound via phone and email to drive our key shared initiatives (including but not limited to Fitment, Promoted Listings, New seller acquisition). Providing outbound campaigns to our customers with a view to supporting the use of eBay services and features most suited to the customer’s business
  • Develop strong marketing plans using data and analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies.
  • Use judgement in coaching our members regarding marketplace policies to ensure an optimal outcome. Troubleshoot, offer solutions and provide recommendations for any customer problems related to the eBay platform.
  • Accurately use our systems to get the right solutions and keep track of the customer details. Understand customer priorities and identify key improvement areas.
  • Deliver core metrics including, but not limited to Fitment adoption rate, Promoted Listings revenue and new seller adoption and GMV.

What you will bring:

  • Efficient communication skills. Clear, concise, empathetic, and respectful communication to build trust and productive relationships with eBay sellers
  • Outstanding in your negotiation skills to source critical inventory and establish joint commercial targets
  • You have excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to operate with agility and to navigate change
  • Experienced in supporting customers over the phone and virtually via Zoom
  • Consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances
  • Able to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet objectives
  • Ability to learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder
  • Strong with analysing data and draw practical insights from these
  • Strong in trading competence, comfortable to operate in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Commercially focused and have a strong track record of achieving and surpassing targets

Experience

  • Strong experience within a client relationship management environment
  • Previously experience in an onboarding and growth role, ideally in an online retail environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail Excellent time and project management skills.
