Job Description:

The Transportation Coordinator I is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of fuel to RaceTrac and RaceWay stores. This individual works to ensure fuel is always available for delivery at an optimal price to ultimately diminish costs for the organization. The Transportation Coordinator is also responsible for making sure tanks meet proper product standards.

What You'll Do: 

  • Serves as first point of contact for communication and problem solving with third party Common Carrier to help facilitate fuels to stores

  • Manages store fuels levels, inventory, and supply sources

  • Monitors gas-to-water tank ratios and contact the proper department needed to resolve supply mix issues

  • Ensures that gas suppliers have the correct loading information at terminals

  • Communicates between third party and in-house carriers concerning inventory, store volume or market changes

  • Schedules pump-outs when tanks or terminals have been contaminated or contain improper tranmix gas

What We're Looking For: 

  • Some college preferred.

  • 0-2 years professional experience, transportation or logistics preferred

  • Proficient in excel and word document.
