About Jupiter

Jupiter is one of the UK’s leading investment management companies with over 500 employees and £51.3 billion worth of assets under management (as at 30th June 2024).

Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds. Jupiter has experienced a period of international growth with offices open in EMEA and APAC.

The Hong Kong office was established in January 2013 with key hires across the Sales, Marketing and Compliance departments. In those early days, our main goal was to expand Jupiter’s presence in the region and build brand recognition. We started by building a footprint in our intermediary business with a focus on private banks and then we widened our client base to retail.  Currently, the Hong Kong sales team is responsible for driving Jupiter’s business and providing day-to-day services to clients in North Asia including Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Background

This role works collaboratively and is integrally linked with our Client Group partners, Investment Management and other supporting functions with the purpose of building and strengthening: the Jupiter brand, our service and product awareness and helping the firm to deliver against its objectives. The team is responsible for marketing to intermediate, wholesale and retail audiences in our domiciled products. It will also support our growing Institutional business as required.

Working in close collaboration with the regional APAC Sales Team, Marketing Managers, Hong Kong office and the broader Client Group teams. The individual will be based in the Hong Kong office and will prepare comprehensive marketing plans to deliver the regions business objectives. The individual will be responsible for the implementation of those marketing strategy/plans, using all relevant aspects of the marketing mix in the APAC (primarily Hong Kong, Singapore & Taiwan) markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Integrated marketing and communication campaigns for Jupiter’s core business investment strategies, whilst raising Jupiter’s brand profile and broadening our appeal to Wholesale, Institutional & Retail clients in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.

  • Define, deliver, and attend a programme of highly engaging investment events (Jupiter proprietary and 3rd Party) for our clients, in support of our regional sales/channel objectives. In collaboration with the Global Events team, ensuring the events are tracked and integrated within our Salesforce lead generation processes.
  • Continue to evolve and enhance the client experience of Jupiter APAC websites. Ensure that the digital capabilities are leveraged throughout the core campaign programme in support of the Client Group goals. Engage with HQ to effectively drive website traffic to APAC websites.
  • Increase scale in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan - Support achieving net flows in 2025 consistent with targets, especially focusing on the key deliverable of the Singapore retail license in H1.
  • Work closely with the PR and internal communications team, supporting the communications programme to help deliver the APAC goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Strategic Partners, ensuring a targeted approach of tailored communications are maximized in line with business objectives by leveraging the central content to get maximum efficiency.
  • Support key APAC Sales objectives within the Hong Kong office, providing event, logistics and translation assistance where needed.
  • In line with sales product focus and content plans, manage the email campaigns, to ensure that timely, appropriate and accurately targeted communications are sent to clients - tracking and reporting their efficacy and using this information to optimise the programme and to help provide sales leads.
  • Maintain and manage a network of external service providers that would help achieve APAC Marketing objectives
  • Ensure that marketing activities comply with all regulatory requirements and are delivered within budget.
  • To ensure that all marketing and compliance processes are strictly adhered to on a day-to-day basis.


Desired Skills / Experience

  • Good ability to write and communicate in both English and Mandarin. The job requires revision of translations (e. g. key literature emails and /or social media posts).
  • Additional language Cantonese speaking.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing within the asset management industry/financial services.
  • An understanding of the audience in APAC markets as well as wholesale audiences across regions (desirable).
  • Understanding of investment products (desirable).
  • Enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with different people and departments.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in order to manage numerous pieces of work at any one time.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good skills in terms of technology/ workflow systems usage
