Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development process. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. - Design and develop high-quality software solutions. - Oversee the development process and ensure timely delivery. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, PySpark. - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications. - Knowledge of database concepts and experience with SQL. - Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Experience with agile development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
