Endicott’s AV team is excited to onboard a new Audio Visual Support Technician.  As an AV Support Technician at Endicott College, you'll play a key role in supporting audio-visual experiences for our campus events and classrooms. Duties include: Assist with the installation and maintenance of AV systems, including classroom systems and temporary installations for the College. Works as a member of the AV Services team to help end users host successful classes and events. Responds to support tickets based on skill level and shadows experienced techs for more advanced issues. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support end users in the operation of campus Audio Visual System. Including but not limited to LCD projectors, Extron AV switchers, and simple portable PA systems.
  • Setup and support of AV equipment for College and conference events
  • Assist with Installation, troubleshooting, and support of AV systems.
  • Act as Tier 1 support for various mediated classroom audio visual equipment.
  • Evening and weekend office/event coverage will be needed with advanced notice.


Qualifications:

  • Light to moderate experience technical event operations.
  • Experience in the setup, support, and troubleshooting of media technologies.
  • Working knowledge of professional grade video and audio presentation equipment.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, and user level experience with applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and train others as needed.
  • Excellent customer service and good communication skills - both written and oral.
  • Work experience in an academic setting is preferable but not required.
