Summary:

The opportunity arises for VIAVI to hire a Sales Account Manager in South Korea, focusing on FAS products. This is an individual contributor and sales quota-carrying role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving/exceeding the business goals and sales quota in the assigned area
  • Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders including Service Providers (Communications Networks), distributors, Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs), Research Institutions, factories for Optical-related products, engineering, purchasing and senior management
  • Sell into customers through direct sales as well as indirect sales via Channel Partners
  • Perform market analysis of the assigned area and provide up-to-date information on market dynamics including potential opportunities, competitor activities and others for effective sales.
  • Identify and create new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers
  • Maintain and submit an accurate sales forecast for the assigned area using assigned tools such as a CRM.
  • Work closely with BU and regional teams to proactively drive sales opportunities forward
  • Attend trade shows and host seminars to promote VIAVI Solutions
  • In addition, sales account managers may be requested to assist the Country Manager and business unit marketing team with researching new market opportunities and launching new products
