Team/Role Overview:
The Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) Core Accounts Product Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the targeted enhancements, de-risking, and regulatory programs which includes development of product plans, strategies, de-risking initiatives, and supporting regulatory compliance for Citi’s core banking platforms.
The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the design, development, testing of enhancements or new capabilities relating to Core DDA product functions on Citi’s existing legacy platforms and infrastructure. Using prevailing good practice and industry standard techniques, and ways of working, the role will be required to collaborate with global Technology and Product teams using Agile methodologies to drive client centric, product focussed, risk mitigating, regulatory compliant, and cost-effective outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Work with Technology, Product, Risk Management, Compliance and other stakeholders in program scoping, business case and prioritization, roadmap definition, project plans, functional analysis, and PI planning for targeted enhancements across the existing Flexcube Core Banking platform.
- Serve as liaison to challenge functions in Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.
- Act as program and project sponsor for Core Accounts Project Tracking System (PTS) efforts, including review and signoff on key artifacts as needed, as well as credible challenge on migration planning activities and the closure of business-critical milestones.
- Drive regulatory and consent order driven programs to deliver against their milestones.
- Support the prioritization of intra-year project demand within the Core Accounts Book of Work, leveraging a structured methodology based upon measurable benefits and trade-offs.
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with other technology and product stakeholders to ensure end to end traceability between product strategy and solution design.
- Define the functional view of all solutions in scope and obtain cross functional buy in from all stakeholders.
- Promote an Agile culture and mindset across the integrated Core Accounts Product and Technology team.
- Sponsor and participate in day-to-day Agile product management activities for Core Accounts, including product delivery and release management calls, assessing, and addressing client and internal system dependencies, and facilitating the remediation of risks to achieve business results.
- Drive negotiations with internal partner stakeholders around the right-placement/offboarding of capabilities off Flexcube, onto respective target state platforms.
- Support the adoption of Enterprise Data Standards on TTS Core Account platforms to comply with the Citi Data Governance Policy.
- Support Core Accounts annual, year-end planning and budgeting activities.
- Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members.
What we’ll need from you:
- Significant experience across Financial Services either through working with a similar organization or a large consulting firm.
- Broad experience in either a transformation or business platform ownership role within a Banking organization, or as part of a consulting firm running a transformation program for a large bank.
- Product management experience across the Financial Services industry either at a Bank or a similar role in a consulting organization.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a proven track record of creating effectful and impactful PowerPoint presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Eye for detail while reviewing and preparing project deliverables and reports.
- Strong Influencing skills with the ability to mediate discussions and draw consensus.
- Outstanding analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of working with tools such as Jira, and MS Office tools is essential.
- Strong and demonstrated execution skills with a proven track record of operating in an Agile environment and using Agile techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and plan / prioritize appropriately.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Ability to provide oversight of milestones and input to ensure consistent and timely delivery.
- Ability to lead and drive change through creative thinking and pragmatism.
- Ability to monitor progress of a project and proactively identify risks and work with delivery teams to define appropriate risk mitigating mechanisms.
- Well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage at the senior management level.
- Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests.
- Specific knowledge of demand deposits accounts and transaction banking services is a plus.
