Job Description

  • Prepares, reviews, and edits drafts of contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Facility Agreements, and Vendor Agreements.
  • Works with in-house legal team to review the contents and risks reflected in contracts and suggest pathways to workable solutions for closure.
  • Manages legal projects and drives them to closure, working closely and collaboratively with internal teams, while following corporate approval and policy procedures.
  • Reviews and ensures company’s compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Prepares and files legal documents with appropriate entities, as required.
  • Conducts research projects with in-house legal team.
  • Assists with implementation and management of document management system to store, track and manage contracts and other matters.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree, associate degree or paralegal certification and at least 5 years of law office experience or in-house paralegal experience.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat) and document management systems.
  • Proven success with effectively prioritizing many requests and tasks.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
  • Previous experience in the semiconductor equipment and/or process technologies industry is a definite plus.


Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
