As a Consulting Senior Analyst I you will be a contributor to our consulting practice, bringing expertise in the petrochemical and chemical sectors to deliver insightful market analysis and strategic advice to our clients. Projects will revolve around multiple products including olefins, plastics, aromatics, inorganics, syngas, feedstocks, and energy. You will be an experienced graduates with a background in analytics and market consultancy.

The position is based at our New Delhi office and will require working with our global team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis for consulting projects.
  • Review and analyse market and pricing data from CMA’s internal databases and publications and accomplish secondary / desk research.
  • Use understanding and expertise in the petrochemical/chemical sector to provide commercial or techno economic insights to the consulting projects.
  • Contribute to team discussions on multiple consulting projects as a knowledgeable stakeholder.
  • Assist in preparation of project proposals for clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of B.Sc./B.Eng./B.Tech. degree in chemical engineering or chemistry is required.
  • A postgraduate degree in science or business management will be considered as an advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a commercial or techno-economic role in the petrochemical industry or within petrochemical market consultancy is required.
  • Additional experience in the refining sector is useful but not mandatory.
  • Experience with the petrochemicals business, the structure of industry, the production technologies, and economic aspects such as chemical markets and pricing is desirable.
  • Proven track record of analytics and market consultancy work is necessary .

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and analysis.
  • Fluent in English language in written and spoken forms. Experience in writing analytical reports is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of programmes.
