Summary: As a Windows Server Administrator, you will be responsible for installing or upgrading Windows-based systems and servers, managing user access to the servers, and maintaining the security and stability of the network. To ensure success as a Windows Administrator, you should have in-depth knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance, coding skills, and the ability to solve complex IT issues. Ultimately, a top-class Windows Administrator ensures the smooth running of the company’s networking and server systems, while maintaining a high level of security. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Provide support to end-users and ensure the smooth functioning of the infrastructure. - Monitor environment performance and stability, and proactively identify areas for improvement. - Document and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles. - Assessing and maintaining the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows Servers Environment. - Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in VMware Virtualization Administration, Nutanix Administration, Azure IaaS administration. - Strong understanding of server administration and troubleshooting techniques. - Experience in managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server environments. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Nutanix, Azure. - Knowledge of PowerShell or any other scripting experience is preferred. - Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - 15 years of full-time education is required.
