You will work closely with the Data Warehouse Team, the IT Infrastructure Team, and the IT Security Team to implement the following tasks within the Analytics Department:

Data Governance Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of data governance and management project initiatives.

Data Analytics and Insights: Conduct data analytics projects and research to deliver actionable insights for management decision-making.

Data Quality Management: Support the definition and implementation of data quality standards, processes, and metrics to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Data Profiling and Analysis: Perform data profiling and database structure analysis to understand data elements, definitions, and usage.

Data Lineage Tracking: Assist in implementing data lineage tracking to map data flow and transformations.

• Data Access and Security Administration: Support the definition and enforcement of data access policies and controls to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Data Issue Resolution: Contribute to the development and implementation of processes for identifying, tracking, and resolving data issues and incidents.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business units, IT, and risk management to understand data needs and challenges.

Data Governance Policy Support: Participate in data governance policy development, management, and impact analysis.

Data Management and Optimization: Assist in maintaining, reviewing, and optimizing data marts and extraction scripts to improve production efficiencies.

Education/Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Banking/Finance/Economics, Mathematics/Statistics or related disciplines.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or preferably within the financial industry.

Special Skills

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or a related field are preferred.

Skills: Strong knowledge of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL with thorough experience with data management tools, metadata management tools, and data quality tools.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex data governance issues.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with banking regulations related to data management and governance.
