Job Description

• Receiving items in store
  • Verification every item on PO received and correct.
  • Entering receipts in JDE and in Maximo.
  • Identification of each item with 900 number and placing them in correct location in storeroom.
  • Place items in designated locations.
• Performing daily inventory counts of parts.  Including required corrections of misplaced items, missing identifications #s, adjustment of warehouse locations in Maximo, reconcile counts, etc.
• Ability to organize and catalogue existing parts.
• Clerical duties include daily entering and closing mechanic's repair orders
• Issues items to work orders from the storeroom log sheet
• Helping maintenance crew to locate items in storeroom.
• Kitting of parts for shutdowns
• May operate electric walking pallet stacker (after successful completion of training course).
• Work with inventory coordinator in storeroom continuous improvement.
• Backup to inventory coordinator when required
• Ensures that parts or supplies needed for production are available for mechanics.
• May sweep aisles, dust display racks and perform other general cleaning duties
• Other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ clerical experience in store room or similar experience preferred
• Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
• Comfortable with working in a dusty environment
• Demonstrates values of integrity, respect for others, accountability, and a strong bias for action.
• Able to achieve results individually and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
