Account Monitoring and Reconciliation Analyst

The person in this position should have an outstanding knowledge of the end-to-end accounts payable process execution in order to be an SME of the AP process in an accounting environment and work with stakeholders for solving open cases related with the accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze accounts payable workflow in order to understand end to end process.

  • Support and work together with Reconciler Team sharing details required with SCO accounts.

  • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of account balances based on the nature of the account and understanding of processes that may impact the account.

  • Responsible for assessing the risk associated with aged items and escalating to BSG.

  • Responsible for answering account related queries.

  • Determine root causes of reconciling items, work in corrective action plans to address issues, ensure exception items are closed on an adequate timely basis.

  • Attesting to these responsibilities by completing the Account Owner attestation in e-Recon.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor University, preferable related to accounting or administration.

  • English level: Advanced

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel knowledge)

  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in an accounting control environment (AR, AP, R2R, I2C, etc.)

  • Good computer systems skills.

  • Good verbal and written communications skills.

  • Good prioritization skills and time management is a must.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Accountability.

  • Works well under pressure in accounts payable environment.

  • Team player.

  • Excellent customer service.

  • Action orientation.

  • Good adapting to change.

Desirable:

  • P2P/Oracle Literate

  • Portuguese level: Intermediate

  • Experience with accounting reconciliation
