This job is focused on front line sales of Carotek Filtration Solutions, Products, and Capabilities over a five state territory. These states include North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia. The ideal candidate will reside in the greater Charlotte, NC area, but other locations will be considered. Daily activities include direct face-to-face customer interaction, working with our existing outside sales team for driving our growing market presence, evaluating applications for recommended solutions, and teaching industrial filtration technology to our team and customer base. In addition to product application and sales, this individual will be responsible for growing filtration skid system opportunities in standard configurations.
Education/Experience Requirements
At least five years’ experience in industrial filtration sales is required. Prefer candidate to possess a degree in a technical field or business concentration; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Five years’ experience in a combination of an Outside or Inside Sales role, preferably in a related industry and with a proven track record of success; Inside Sales and/or Field Service work a plus.

• Working knowledge of industrial filtration technologies such as strainers, bags, cartridges, and automatic self-cleaning filtration.

Pay Structure:
This position will be salary + bonus based on filtration market sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Acting as a consultative business partner, problem solver, trusted advisor and technical expert in the application of filtration products, the person in this position will assist customers in the application of the products and services to meet their needs resulting in revenue generation.
Calls on end-users such as engineers, technicians and supervisory personnel in Industrial andMunicipal accounts providing process solutions and application advice on our filtration products
•Conduct informational training sessions on our filtration products and their application
•Establishes effective relationships with customers to gain their trust and confidence in applying our products. Must be a self-starter utilizing various sales lead generation resources to source and meet with potential customers.
•Grows territory by increasing penetration of existing accounts and developing new accounts
•Reviews specifications, application requirements and other documents and works closely with Inside Sales for preparation of resulting quotations
•Advise our Inside Sales team as to margins to utilize for particular accounts or projects
•Develops and delivers sales presentations and closes sales in a professional and effective manner
•Provides technical support for customers in the proper use, operation and maintenance of our equipment
•Monitors, analyzes and communicates monthly sales data to contribute to product and service planning
•Participates in sales forecasting and planning for the assigned market/territory
•Maintains CRM database InFor and inputs sales activity into InFor (CRM)
•Maintains strong principal relationships
•Attends factory training sessions and trade shows for products represented
•Maintains up-to-date awareness of competitive activity, industry trends, new products and other general information of interest to customers

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Much of the time will be spent on the road calling on customers, when not on the road, work will be done in the Matthews, NC office, or from your home office.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and there is some flexibility in the hours allowed but individuals in this position typically work Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is up to 75% of the time and primarily local during the business day, although travel is expected which may require overnight stays and weekends. Ability to transport self to various facility sites as required. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
