The Impact You’ll Make:
- Account Managers are responsible for the commercial aspect of the customer’s business. They focus on retaining and expanding their book of business, ultimately driving more revenue and creating marketing and sales success for their customers.
- Develop and expand into cross-functional relationships across several customer departments to build value and interest for each role (personas include marketing, executives, marketing operations, sales, and sales operations).
- Manage contracts, negotiations, billing, and legal and financial questions internally and externally for the customer regarding their relationship and agreement with NextRoll.
- Work collaboratively with the new business and onboarding teams to ensure a frictionless and standardized new customer experience.
- Develop relationships internally to advise and improve processes and support our customers more effectively and efficiently, including customer success, solution consultants, product, finance, revenue operations, and legal services.
Skills You’ll Bring:
- 2 to 8+ years of experience in media, SaaS, or digital advertising account management
- Successful technology sales experience, strong preference for experience in mar-tech, ad-tech, digital marketing, and/or B2B account-based marketing
- A proven track record of hitting sales targets; this role will be responsible for expansion/upsell & renewal/retention
- SaaS experience and previous sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to a diverse audience, both internally and externally
- A background and passion for driving value and growth with customers via virtual meetings - this takes the form of enablement sessions, strategy meetings, business reviews, and more in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate the value of a complex B2B account-based marketing or advertising technology
- A mind for technology - we’ll teach you about AdRoll and/or RollWorks, and you should have an aptitude and curiosity to learn
- The acumen for leveraging tools and data sets to gain insight into your clients
- High levels of organization and attention to detail - you take ownership of customer situations and see everything through to resolution
- A team player passionate about collaboration, this role will work with customers that require alignment across the broader go-to-market ecosystem, including Solutions Consultants & Engineers, Customer Success, Product, Finance, Legal, etc.
- Exhibit strong prospecting skills across multiple channels, including phone, LinkedIn, video, and email
- Ability and willingness to travel to meet each of your accounts within the US at a minimum once per quarter
