Typical Accountabilities
- Lead the District Team to achieve or surpass established sales forecasts and consistently meet call execution goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with each sales representative to set specific, challenging, and measurable goals tailored to their individual territories and market dynamics.
- Proactively identify and address barriers or obstacles that could affect team performance and outcomes, implementing strategic solutions.
- Regularly evaluate both individual and team progress toward all set objectives, providing targeted coaching to enhance performance and achieve better results.
- Focus on the professional development of sales representatives by enhancing their skills, preparing them for future career growth, including potential promotion to District Manager roles.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulations and compliance standards related to interactions with healthcare professionals, the distribution of samples, and other industry-specific requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Health Science.; Demonstrated leadership capabilities, financial management, written and oral communication skills.; Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication abilities resulting in effective collaboration across functional areas to drive win/win outcomes that align to organizational objectives.; Demonstrated understanding of the hospital ecosystem, reimbursement and distribution challenges of a biologics product and leverages understanding to take a strategic approach to capitalize on marketplace opportunities.; Proven experience attracting, developing and retaining talent as a District Manager.; Experience launching new products in highly specialised market.
Desirable: Master’s degree.; Previous exposure and/or experience in other functional areas of the business such as Sales Training, Operations, Brand Team or Managed Markets.; Understanding of the hospital ecosystem, reimbursement and distribution challenges of a biologics product and demonstrated ability to overcome.
