About the role:
- The successful candidate will join our Pune based Software Delivery Centre and participate in the development and delivery of our bank connectivity product (FIS Bank Connector)
- You will work in a dedicated product development SCRUM team in an iterative delivery model.

What you will be doing:
- Work in sprints – participate in design, development, unit testing and defect fixing of the product
- Support team members with writing quality code, do code reviews for junior members in the team
- Contribute towards creating and imparting high quality training (and material) to train new joiners in the team
- For new customer onboarding, provide UAT and production support on need basis
- Train and communicate with clients on systems application
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent of education and experience;
- 6+ years’ of commercial software development (Java/Spring/Microservices) experience
- Need to have experience on application Servers Tomcat / Wildfly / Weblogic.
- Experience working in Unix environment and proven knowledge of scripting languages.
- Sound knowledge of JAVA Design Patterns.
- Familiarity with all facets of SDLC ranging from inception to deployment using DevOps.
- SQL programming for Oracle and MS SQL.
- Proven experience with agile teams and backlog management processes, facilitating leadership style.
- Fluency in the English language and excellent communication and presentation skills is a must.
- Ability to build strong relationships with extended global teams is a must
- Customer interfacing experience is a strong preference.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
Added bonus if you are:
- Knowledge on UI development using Angular.
- Working experience on configuration management tools like GIT Bitbucket, Artifactory etc.
- Self-motivated, strong initiative, flexible and good time management skills.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and a good team player.
