In this newly created role, you’ll lead a team of multimedia strategists, helping to build a best in class multimedia function to support the ever growing demand.  The team does everything from creating and editing new videos, to animating charts and graphs, to shooting new video at events or our in house studio, where we host webinars and shoot custom content.  As the team grows, you’ll help us think through the right structure and role definition as we scale.

This role:

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

Collaborates with internal clients to determine creative tools and solutions, ensure appropriate staffing, and provide support and guidance each step of the process. Leads external vendor strategy for creative services.

  • Sets measurable goals to increase efficiency, performance, and quality of team output. Quantifies and reviews team efficiency by analyzing data and researches root cause of any issues. Audits crew and team work for quality control. Identifies opportunities to revise or dispose of obsolete or inefficient processes and practices.

  • Provides status updates to the business regarding various creative services projects and processes. Partners with senior leaders to prioritize projects, accommodate workload changes, and resolve highly complex creative services issues.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

  • Minimum of five years related work experience, with at least two years of design, advertising, or communications experience.

  • Experience facilitating creative brainstorming sessions and critiques to drive content, design, and presentation solutions.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graphic Design or other creative arts degree preferred. Graduate degree preferred.

  • Previous experience hiring, evaluating, and leading others is highly preferred.
