Shape the Future of Agribusiness in Central Queensland

We’re proud to partner with Agribusiness clients across Central Queensland, supporting the enterprises that sit at the heart of our regional economy.

Based in Emerald or Rockhampton, you’ll work closely with producers across beef, cattle and broad‑acre cropping, helping them manage seasonal volatility, invest for growth and build resilient businesses for the long term.

Together, we unleash potential — for our clients, our communities, and each other — as a collaborative, flexible and purpose‑driven team.

Do Work That Truly Matters

At our core, we are relationship builders.

Your deep understanding of Central Queensland’s grazing and broad‑acre operations, combined with strong commercial judgement, will see you become a trusted adviser to your clients — someone they turn to through good seasons and challenging ones.

You’ll manage a diverse Agribusiness portfolio with deal sizes ranging from $3–50m, using your experience to deliver tailored financial solutions that support working capital, expansion, land acquisition and succession planning.

This role is about long‑term partnerships, not transactions — and making a genuine impact across regional Australia.

See Yourself in Our Team

Our Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) team is deeply committed to supporting Australian Agribusiness and strengthening the financial wellbeing of regional communities.

You’ll manage a Central Queensland Agribusiness portfolio, working flexibly across office, client sites, and remote environments, while staying closely connected to the local market.

We value balance — enabling you to meet the needs of your clients, collaborate with your team and maintain a sustainable rhythm between work and life.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with beef, cattle and broad‑acre cropping clients
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business model, risk profile, and long‑term goals
  • Retain and grow your portfolio by identifying opportunities across lending, risk management, and broader banking solutions
  • Partner with product and risk specialists to deliver end‑to‑end financial solutions
  • Lead deal strategy and execution, including origination, structuring, negotiation, and credit ownership
  • Proactively manage risk while supporting sustainable client growth

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from people who:

  • Are genuine relationship builders, recognised for trusted advice and exceptional client service
  • Have experience leading complex Agribusiness or commercial lending transactions, ideally within grazing or broad‑acre sectors
  • Thrive in collaborative, specialist‑led environments
  • Are confident in financial analysis and credit decisioning, with a strong understanding of cash‑flow drivers and seasonal dynamics
  • Are motivated by building a meaningful career supporting Australian Agribusiness and regional communities

If you’re looking for a role where your relationships, expertise and impact truly matter — and where you can partner with some of Central Queensland’s most established and forward‑thinking Agribusinesses — we’d love to hear from you.
