This is an exciting opportunity to build leadership and administrative skills while maintaining your clinical competencies. Join a growing team that will partner with each discipline to drive all aspects of patient movement from the time of admission until discharge. This will be accomplished by partnering with the physicians, APPs, Nursing, Care Coordination, and Support Services.

The areas of focus within patient movement include and are not limited to the movement of patients into and out of ICUs, Stepdown units, PACU, Procedural Areas, ED, Transfer Center, and Direct Admissions. The Clinical Program Coordinator has the ability to impact multiple patients in their role and as a result improve the patient experience. Strong communications skills are a must, and the Clinical Program Coordinator will support an interdisciplinary team approach to patient movement. The Clinical Program Coordinator will participate in daily meetings focused on patient flow such as tiered huddles and inter-disciplinary.

This is a Full-Time position 7AM-8PM Monday to Friday no Holidays.

 Preferred Criteria

·       At least one year of bed coordination, admitting coordinator, Nurse Administrator ICU, ED, PACU, Cardiac experience

  • Experience as Charge Nurse a plus

Required Criteria

·       At least three years of critical care RN experience

·       Needs to have cardiac experience, either procedural or floor experience.

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Master’s preferred

·       Current New York State RN license

$103,300-$158,900/Annual
