The Hartford is seeking a Business Architect to join the Claims and Operations IT organization supporting our Claims, Billing & Shared Services domains. The Claims and Operations IT Business Architect will play a key role in our broader transformation journey as we continue to evolve our strategic IT roadmap to enable business capabilities. If you’re a passionate technical leader with Business acumen with a desire to never stop learning and looking to stay on top of the latest trends in emerging business, technology solutions and capabilities, this position is for you.
This position will allow you to apply your strong process analysis and design skills to influence business capabilities and features of the enterprise in-line with our strategic business vision. As Claims & Operations IT Business Architect, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing innovative end-to-end processes and solutions that enable strategic business objectives. You will work closely with business strategy organizations, business operations, technology colleagues, product owners and product managers to support the evolution and maturity of our Claims and Operations products and solutions. The role will require strong partnerships and relationships with stakeholders across both the business and Technology organizations.

This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Qualifications:
Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
