WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As Supply Chain Specialist, CEMEA, you will drive operational excellence to serve our customers through transactional and executional activities across relevant Nike systems, tools and reports to meet financial and operational targets while delivering on Nike’s strategy.  This role is accountable for short- and long-term goals, delivering results towards our operational KPI’s (Service, Convenience, Sustainability and Profitability) and for driving and enabling end to end logistics and supporting documentation in Middle East, Eastern Europe and North Africa distributor markets.

You will be a dedicated voice of Supply Chain towards our internal and external stakeholders within your account and channel responsibility. You utilize your strong account management & commercial experience to drive efficient operations and mutually profitable growth.  You keep your business partners advised of risks and opportunities, and partner with your MPU and other operational functions to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions. You engage in cross-functional projects/initiatives and simplify complex situations through structural agile thinking.

You need to be able to work against timelines and deliver results.  You can flexibly move to provide your subject matter expertise in areas of critical business need across EMEA Supply Chain.  As a team member you are expected to encourage peers to grow and develop.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with the Marketplace Supply Chain team on the following topics:

  • Lead and be responsible for the end to end logistics processes (after shipment release to documentation archiving)

  • Adhere to Anti-Boycott legislation and other legal and compliance requirements regarding working with Government Affairs team, Chamber of Commerce and different Embassies

  • Being constantly aware of changing country legislation for Inspections and import documentation changes

  • Support and help drive service model differentiation and operational performance in partnership with EMEA Logistics and Transportation teams to deliver mutually profitable growth with your Partner

  • Bring the Supply Chain voice to your Integrated Account Squad / Team responsible for operationalizing commercially and financially aligned plans

  • Key partner to both external Partner team and internal Seasonal Execution team(s) to ensure smooth execution of all pre, in and post-season activities (incl Responsive, Order entry, OBR, Shipping and Delivery etc.)

  • Represent Supply Chain in X-functional team to ensure a balanced marketplace, mutual profitable growth and influence mechanics of inventory management through regular interaction with internal and external partners sharing scenarios and solutions to risks/opportunities

  • Bring an improvement and innovation mindset to identify and lead small sized initiatives by applying project management tools and skills

  • Change agent for transformational initiatives through hands on contribution, quantitative and qualitative feedback to enable continuous improvement

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You'll work in a cross-functional, agile environment that spans across CEMEA and services the Distributor MPU’s operational business needs. Within the MPU, you will partner closely with Sales, Planning and Finance. Outside of the MPU you will partner with your customers, carrier network, consolidators, supply & inventory planning and Nike’s logistical functions to drive supply chain efficiencies and process improvements while ensuring on time documents, data and physical deliveries.
