Salary: Up to £65,000 Negotiable and dependent on experience

Location: Alder Vets, Guildford

Job Type: Permanent. Full-time.

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm) No OOH

Alder Veterinary Practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our amazing team!

Alder Vets is a purpose-built clinic, equipped with modern cutting-edge facilities, including diagnostic imaging, digital radiography, laparoscopic spay kit, endoscopy, ultrasound, and in-house blood analysis, fully operational orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery suite with huge potential for expanding our surgical caseload (we have a peripatetic orthopaedic surgeon who is very happy to teach and support and a soft tissue cert holder who is also keen to teach and develop), inpatient care, and dentistry with room to grow other services such as exotics, diagnostic imaging, and feline medicine (with our dedicated cat waiting area, consult room, and procedure suite).With the majority of our clients carrying insurance, you'll have the opportunity to elevate case management to exceptional standards.

Our ideal candidate will be confident in both general surgery and medicine, but you’ll have support from us, our excellent nursing team with years of experience, and the wider Linnaeus team, if needed. The most important thing is that you’re friendly, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills.
