About the Team

The Global Field Programs team provides outstanding, thoughtful, and impactful program management and change management for Workday Sales and Field Operations. The work of the team spans across multiple sales priorities such as pipeline creation, deal execution, people development, and more. We are a group of hard-working professionals, with a diverse mix of experience and backgrounds, located across the globe. The team promotes Workday’s core values with a strong dedication to our employees.

About the Role

The Senior Strategic Program Manager will be a critical player on the team, helping to craft strategy and lead initiatives to support the growth of the sales organization. The ideal candidate has a partnership mentality as they collaborate with cross-functional and global teams. We value the candidate with excellent communication skills, who will bring innovative thinking to identify new and different approaches to communications of all types (organizational comms, program comms, and change management comms).

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field.

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in consulting, communications, program management, change management or sales operations.

  • Experience developing strategy and programs to achieve business outcomes and develop successful teams.

  • Experience in building and executing strategic communications strategies from start to finish for programs and projects for a large and diverse audience.

  • Able to present complex business decisions in a structured format.

  • Able to effectively communicate with senior leaders on decisions that impact their teams.

  • Consultative approach and strong communication skills to engage with key stakeholders at senior executive levels.

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders to prepare them for speaking engagements for large internal audiences. 

  • Able to nurture collaboration and facilitate discussions among cross-functional teams to drive progress on a variety of projects and programs.

  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience in business application software and SaaS.

  • Experience partnering with senior sales leadership

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to bring point of view forward in a nuanced way to influence.

  • Practical, hands-on approach and a “make it happen” demeanor.

  • Adaptable and able to shift gears comfortably as business needs evolve.

  • Solid understanding of sales strategy and operations.

  • Understanding of change management and experience driving change through communications. 

  • Able to learn in a face-paced environment.

  • An enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $117,000 USD - $175,400 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $105,800 USD - $204,000 USD
