Job Description:

We are seeking a Design Engineer for our control cubicle design team, specializing in Power Transformers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical engineering, specifically focused on power systems and transformers.

Your responsibilities

  • Interpretation and design of the customer requirements into a working control cubicle design
  • Definition of the control and surveillance equipment
  • Design of cooling- and monitoring system control including CAD drawings
  • Ordering of selected Transformer components included in the control cubicle
  • Creation of manufacturing drawings with Bill of Material for suppliers and internal manufacturing
  • You will need to demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently as well as confidence and good communication skills in English. You must also have basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, including the field of large-scale transformers

Your background

  • You have a apprentice degree, bachelor's degree or similar in electrical engineering or related field
  • You have good basic electrical schematics knowledge and transformer-specific knowledge
  • Good German and English language skills
  • You will be required to work closely with our mechanical and electrical designers, workshop and suppliers and must be capable of working and contributing in a team
  • You have professional experience in control cubicle design
