Role Title:
Account Manager
Role Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with pharmaceutical clients, identifying opportunities to expand services, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. The role also includes coordinating access to services, overseeing their delivery, and providing necessary training to meet client needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and build positive business relationships and experience with Pharma clients, understanding their requirements in terms of data and services
- Expert understanding of IQVIA data sources like Pharmacy, Parapharmacy Modern Distribution, Medical, Hospital and Wholesalers
- Serve as an expert contact for clients using IQVIA data, software and services
- Responsible for identifying opportunities within current and new clients to drive revenue growth
- Ensure all contracted services are delivered with quality and in a timely manner, as well as ad-hoc requests
- Coordinate internal production of regular client deliveries with offshore teams
- Provide additional insight and interpretation of the data to enable appropriate resolution of business questions and/or issues
- Conduct client training on all aspects of IQVIA data and systems
- Conduct client service meetings at customer site
Skills, Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Economics, Market Research, Data Science, Marketing or a related field;
- 2 years of related work experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy;
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);
- Ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for business growth
- Strong skills in securing contracts, agreements, and growing client accounts
- Expert problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Excellent team player, with the ability to work autonomously when needed;
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and copilot;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare market
- Experience working with cross functional and multi-geographical teams
- Experience providing training to others
- Knowledge of time series analysis and statistical modelling
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft office PowerBI and/or Access
- Expertise in IQVIA software, like Flexview, IAM, Dataview, is a plus
