Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.About the Medical Imaging RN Role:
As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for preparing patients for a variety of imaging procedures across different body parts (excluding the heart). This position requires a commitment to high-quality care, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating closely with the healthcare team. You may also rotate through sedation areas and assist with emergency procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing imaging procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including Physicians and support staff, to coordinate patient care.
Monitor and evaluate patients before and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Educate patients about their procedures and address any questions or concerns.
Participate in on-call rotations for emergency imaging procedures as required.

Pay Rate: Competitive salary based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Current RN License in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) and ACLS for healthcare providers.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Critical Care Experience
Understanding of basic x-ray principles and practices.
