Job Description

The Analyst will support the design, advocacy and implementation of sustainability policies and initiatives (covering the environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions) for the AirAsia Group. This individual will report to the Head/Manager of Group Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and help drive ESG policies and initiatives for AirAsia that are aligned to international best practices, the company’s business strategy and in compliance with regulations.
• Strengthen the awareness and appreciation of sustainability issues and embed this as a key value and culture for all internal stakeholders.
• Manage and enhance AirAsia Group’s sustainability-related public disclosures through its Sustainability Report and other external communication strategies and platforms.
• Periodic measurement and progress reporting of ESG initiatives and activities implemented throughout the Group.
• Coordinate, organise and ensure the smooth running of meetings for AirAsia’s internal Sustainability Working Group and Sustainability Board Committee.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience in sustainability-related practices either in a consultancy firm, corporation, government agency, or any international organisation.
• In-depth knowledge of key sustainability issues and developments, including international standards and best practices.
• Preferably, the candidate should hold or be in the process of gaining a postgraduate or industry recognized qualification/certification in sustainability-related fields.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex issues.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office and the ability to create compelling presentations.
• Ability to effectively work and interact with various cultures and ethnicities.
• Must be willing to travel when necessary.
