Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Manual QA Specialist who will be responsible for running a series of tests through every phase of the development lifecycle, at the sprint and release level to ensure our product meets quality standards and functions correctly. This role involves a significant amount of manual testing, including crafting test cases, executing tests, and identifying and documenting bugs.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Document testing phases and defects using JIRA.

• Conduct manual testing to identify bugs and inconsistencies, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Accurately report bugs and errors encountered during the testing process and collaborate with the Product team to ensure they are clearly understood and addressed.

• Monitor and retest all defects found during testing.

• Work closely with the product team to understand product requirements and features.

• Participate in SCRUM meetings to ensure alignment with project timelines and outcomes

• Work with the QA team to prepare test cases that can be executed in an automated fashion.

• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure the software performs well in the production environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience with test management tools + JIRA

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual QA testing.

-- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, regression testing, smoke testing, etc.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.

- A user-centric mindset and a commitment to creating the best user experience possible.

Nice to have:
-Experience in web application testing across the most popular OS/Browser combinations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

- Experience in mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms.
